Well… busy little bee that I’ve been, I’ve managed to write my chapter, build a resource page for this website, and do the last edit of the chapter.
All this and launch a subscription service for my studio (click here for more info on that!), which will enable students anywhere to take classes! We’re really happy about that, because our numbers for COVID-19 have been creeping up — seriously, not happy about that.
This virus is remarkable. It’s science. It’s new (thus, “novel” in the name) and our body doesn’t have any idea how to fight it yet. I’m a very practical yogi. I believe in science and I also believe in what the science of yoga can do for you.
And I believe that yoga and western medicine can complement each other. I’ll be the first one to tell you that cleraing your Chakras, eating organic veggies, and meditating won’t prevent COVID-19. Wearing a mask, washing your hands frequently, and socially distancing will prevent it. That’s science. Clearing your Chakras, eating organic veggies and meditating WILL, however, make you healthier, which will mitigate many other risk factors you may have for COVID and other ailments. Obviously, I’m not a doctor — but I’ll tell you that this is what my cardiologist said; and I respect his opinion!
Back to the book — It’s going to be launched around the first part of October and I hope you’ll take a look. I’m really excited to bring my small contribution to you and give you another tool you can use to make your life healthier and happier!
